Have you found an Animal that you would like to adopt? Maybe you are on holiday here from a different country but would like to adopt?
Please contact us if you need any advice or guidance. The local vets may also be able to help you. Here are some guidelines;
- Contact a local vet and see if the dog already has a microchip. It may already have an owner
- Get advice from the vet on the age of the dog or cat. It may be too young to travel
- Make sure that the dog has the correct vacccinations to be able to travel. Te animal may need a vaccinations and it may be 6 weeks before hey can be taken to another country
- You may need to find someone locally that can take care of the animal until it is old enough to travel or for the vaccinations be administered. Let us know, we may be able to help you find a foster
- Not all airlines take animals, please call your airline and make sure that they are able to travel.
